Cat has made a variety of different films in her career and education as a filmmaker, inspired mostly by the works of the more iconoclastic directors of the French New Wave, such as Jean-Luc Godard and Jacques Rivette. Juna seeks nature, movement, politics, and reaction through composition, lines, and improvisation.
